AvantGo is free software that allows you to download web pages to your Windows Mobile, Palm and Symbian handheld using a desktop or wireless connection. You can then browse and read the downloaded pages on your handheld when you are not connected to the internet.

AvantGo will provide updated news, stock quotes, flight times, movie reviews, maps, weather and more.

AvantGo is very easy to set up. First you need to create an account and download software for your desktop and handheld. Once you have registered with AvantGo, you can subscribe to so-called channels. These channels are really a site in miniature. You can also create your own channels. Then, when you synchronize your mobile, AvantGo downloads your subscribed channels to your device.
